With an arsenal of Top 10 tracks and a discography of 9 studio albums, Jewel certainly had a lot to pick from when forming her setlist for her “Greatest Hits Tour.” She opened her 19 song performance up with, “Near You Always” and a fan shouted just seconds in that they “loved her.” Jewel just smiled back and played on and the crowd seemed mesmerized with her performance. It doesn’t get anymore pure than playing on stage, solo, and practically unplugged in front of a crowd of almost 2,000 people at the Sands Event Center.
After the first song Jewel asked what the audience wanted to hear performed and at one point she even took a request from Twitter for her to play “Life Uncommon.” The 90 minute performance and 8:15PM start time made it an early night for fans, but a night that they won’t soon forget because Jewel made it personal for the whole crowd.
